In recent years the SRI club worked hard to get a just a tiny portion of the endowment invested responsibly as a trial, a testing of the waters, and a first step towards a totally ethical endowment.
The result is the Sustainable Investments Initiative, a commitment to invest roughly 1% of the endowment in a way that reflects our dedication to environmental responsibility. It’s just a beginning, but it opens the door to many great possibilities.
